Previous Events...

TheDyslexiaFriendlyClassroomOct14A4poster This was my first Dyslexia Awareness training event for teachers, SENCOs and Learning Support Assistants as the newly formed Clarity Dyslexia Consultancy. We regularly run these and other one-day dyslexia conferences through the year. Please contact us for more information.

Teacher training
I enjoyed conducting teacher training events about Dyslexia for the local Dyslexia Action centre. School teachers, Teaching Assistants and SENCOs attended and I received excellent feedback. I look forward to giving my next Clarity Teacher Training in the autumn term. Please register your interest here.

Dyslexia Guild 2013

In June 2013, I was privileged to be asked to give a workshop seminar for specialist teachers at the Dyslexia Action Guild Annual Symposium, entitled ’
Current Issues for Primary Teachers.’ This was well received by specialist teachers, who particularly valued the question and answer session.

In October 2013, I was delighted to give a two day training about the resource, the Dyslexia Institute Literacy Programme (DILP) for specialist teachers, held at the previous Dyslexia Action Head Office, Park House in Egham. This was an intensive course and was enjoyed by all, receiving excellent feedback. I am still in contact with and supporting some of the teachers from this event with advice and information.

I enjoyed meeting parents and discussing specific enquiries about specific learning difficulties at the SNAP charity exhibition for parents in Brentwood in 2013.
